LONG RIFLE: Course Information

Maximize efficiency at your rifle's max effective range. This course is a starting point for anyone looking to become a long-range shooter. We will be seeking absolute brilliance in the basics of marksmanship in order to stretch our shots farther than ever before.

Primary topics of this course will cover long-range shooting equipment, fundamentals of marksmanship, elements of good shooting positions, and so much more. For those of you in search of the proverbial "perfect shot", the long road begins here.

HANDGUN 101: Course Information

Price: $200

In this private course we dive into the body mechanics and physics behind pistol shooting to develop a fundamental skill set that works for you. This science-based approach takes the mystery out of shooting and makes it easy to consistently hit the bullseye. 

*Handguns with 100 rounds are available for rent for practical application for $75*

CCW: Course Information

Price: $100 Full $65 Renewals

We offer private one-on-one and small group Nevada Concealed Carry courses designed to work with your schedule. 

Resident and non-resident Nevada concealed carry permits allow you to carry a semi-automatic pistol or revolver for personal protection in Nevada and reciprocal states. Resident permit holders may also use their CCW in lieu of a background check (and the $25 fee) when purchasing firearms. Must be 21 years or older. 

*Handguns are available for rent with 30 rounds of ammo to qualify with, for $40*

Renewals 

If you already have your Nevada CCW and need a renewal class you are welcome to take either the whole class again or do just a half day (4.5  hours including the range qualification). Renewals can start at 9:00am  or 11:30am. Let your instructor know upon arrival.

Intro to Carbine 101:

Price: $200

This course covers the safe use and effective handling of semi-automatic carbine rifle systems. You will learn the body mechanics and fundamental skills to shoot and reload your rifle quickly and accurately.

• Safe weapon handling 

• Characteristics of carbine rifles 

• Sighting in your rifle 

• Fitting your rifle and equipment to your body 

• Fundamentals of marksmanship 

• Elements of good shooting positions 

• Reloads 

• Malfunction drills

What to bring: 

• Eye and ear protection 

• Carbine rifle (or use ours)

• Minimum of two Magazines 

• Minimum of one magazine pouch  

• Rifle sling 

• Preferred foregrip 

• 200 rounds ammunition (NO steel core ammunition)

Home Defense Shotgun:

Price: $200

This two day course covers shotgun shooting mechanics, reloads, and home defense tactics. Bust the point-and-shoot shotgun myth and train for malfunctions, multiple attackers, and complex situations with cover and concealment.

• Breech, semi automatic, and pump action shotgun considerations 

• Body mechanics of shotgun shooting 

• Loading/reloading techniques 

• Malfunction clearing 

• Ammunition considerations for home defense  

• Home defense tactics & limitations 

• Live-fire drills with multiple targets, moving & shooting, and shooting from cover.

Handgun Safety:

Price: $150

This course will cover a variety of often over-looked topics relating to weapons handling, range etiquette, legal considerations, and even the economics of safety. The class is taught in a dynamic free form method that encourages student participation and discussion. This is not the typical canned range safety brief, this is safety turned on its head and put into a new light.
